1. More of Your Favorite ATK Experts

In season one, longtime America’s Test Kitchen cast members Dan Souza, Jack Bishop, Julia Collin Davison, and Elle Simone headed the judging panel. This season, they’re bringing some test kitchen friends. Cook’s Country’s Bryan Roof and Morgan Bolling and Cook’s Illustrated’s Lan Lam join the party and share their kitchen wisdom with the contestants.

2. Exciting Guest Judges

A roster of culinary heavy hitters and friends of America’s Test Kitchen—including Bryan Ford, Pati Jinich, Melissa King, and Joe Sasto—enter the test kitchen to provide feedback and encouragement to the new contestants’ food, presentation, and personality.

3. Dan’s Skill Drill

Viewers will get one-on-one time with the new “Dan’s Skill Drill” segment with head judge Dan Souza, during which he shares practical cooking tips that you can use in your kitchen—from the most efficient way to whisk to the art of cooking inexpensive cuts of meat.

4. Field Trip!

One episode takes the contestants to a secret off-campus location, where they learn about a quintessential New England ingredient from some of the best in the business.

5. Bigger and Better Prizes

Ever dreamed of having a kitchen fully outfitted with ATK Reviews’ highly recommended gear and equipment? Or having Dan Souza cook up his favorite dishes for a dream dinner? Or winning a copy of every ATK cookbook? Get your challenge-winning recipe published in the ATK app? This season, lucky contestants will have a chance to earn each of these prizes.
