Cumin-Sesame Salt

1 tablespoon cumin seeds 1 tablespoon sesame seeds 1 tablespoon kosher salt
Before You Begin
This spice blend can be stored at room temperature for up to one month.
Instructions
- Toast cumin seeds and sesame seeds in 8-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fragrant and sesame seeds are golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer mixture to cutting board and let cool for 2 minutes. Mince mixture until well combined. Transfer mixture to small bowl and stir in salt.

Why This Recipe Works
While a sprinkling of salt is a great flavor enhancer, we sometimes want to finish a dish with other flavors. We found that stirring them into some kosher salt is a great way to disperse those flavorings.
