When it comes to cooking pot stickers, you need to take into consideration whether the dumplings are fresh or frozen, and how many you are planning to cook. Here is a handy set of instructions that gives you some guidelines for cooking pot stickers in various amounts.

Fresh Dumplings - Cooking Particulars

  • 10 dumplings: 10” skillet, 2 teaspoons oil, ⅓ cup water

  • 20 dumplings: 12” skillet, 1 tablespoon oil, ½ cup water

  • More than 20 you will need to cook in batches (Use the above guidelines to discern size of pan, amount of oil, and amount of water per batch)
