Why This Recipe Works

While jarred tartar sauce is a kitchen convenience, its flavors aren’t as bright and its texture isn’t as light as a homemade version. For our recipe, we flavored the mayonnaise base with dill pickle relish, a bracing shot of distilled white vinegar, and a splash of salty, bold Worcestershire sauce.
