Why This Recipe Works

When developing our microwaved corn recipe, we found that corn cooked in its grassy husks consistently picked up the husks’ pleasant, fermented, earthy smell.

Instructions

  1. Place 4 ears yellow corn, silk removed and soaked in water for 30 minutes in large bowl. Cover and microwave for 10 minutes. Let stand, covered, until tender, 3 to 4 minutes longer. Serve with unsalted butter and salt and pepper to taste.
