Smoked Salt

Ingredients

½ cup kosher salt 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Instructions

  1. Combine salt and liquid smoke in bowl, then spread onto large plate. Microwave, stirring occasionally, until only slightly damp, about 2 minutes. Let sit until completely dry and cool, about 10 minutes.

Why This Recipe Works

Adding liquid smoke to kosher salt and then utilizing the microwave, we were able to create a salt that will add a touch of smokiness to whatever it is seasoning.
