Why This Recipe Works

Alabama-style barbecue sauce is a mayonnaise-based sauce pumped up with generous amounts of sharp vinegar and pungent horseradish. Traditionally served with smoked chicken, this sauce is the perfect accompaniment to chicken wings, especially grilled wings.
