Explore southern cuisine and its heroes past and present with Toni Tipton-Martin and Morgan Bolling.

Join award-winning food journalist Toni Tipton-Martin and Cook’s Country editor and TV personality Morgan Bolling as they celebrate the release of their new cookbook, When Southern Women Cook

A first-of-its-kind cookbook featuring more than 300 recipes and fascinating insights into the culinary heroes of the American South, When Southern Women Cook is not your average cookbook.

Tour the diverse history of the south through the voices of women contributors who’ve shaped its cuisine. Every page amplifies their contributions, from the enslaved cooks making foundational food at Monticello to Mexican Americans accessing memories with colorful conchas today.
