We usually recommend building out your cookware collection piece by piece, but occasionally a set impresses us enough to recommend it outright. One of our co-winners is on deep discount this week: Amazon Prime Day runs June 23–26, and Made In is running its own sale in response. If you've been thinking about upgrading your cookware all at once, now is a good time to do it.
Made In 10-Piece Stainless Cookware Set
Sale Price: $799 (22% off)
Like the All-Clad D3, this set is a co-winner in our cookware sets review. The pans are sturdy and attractive, and they heated evenly to brown food beautifully. We liked the level handles, which felt natural to hold, and their hollow steel construction stayed cool on the stove. This set stood out for its saucepan selection: It includes a roomy 4-quart size (most sets top out at 3 quarts) and is the only set we tested with a saucier, which was originally designed for reducing sauces and stirring custards but works great as an everyday saucepan too. One small caveat: The skillets' sides meet the bottom at an angle that can trap food. But overall, this is a well-performing set worth grabbing on sale.
Check out some of our other Made In winners on sale for Prime Day:
Made In Enameled Cast Iron Skillet
Sale Price: $143 (20% off)
This attractive pan was the lightest model we tested, which made it easy to handle despite its generous capacity. It accommodated large recipes, including a full batch of baked ziti, and its glossy enamel interior cleaned up more easily than many competitors. We also like that it comes in a variety of colors. A couple of small drawbacks: The lack of pour spouts can make transferring sauces messier, and the slightly small cooking surface and high, straight sides make flipping foods a bit more challenging. Still, it's a solid option, especially at a Prime Day price.
Made In Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Sale Price: $239 (20% off)
This Dutch oven turned out excellent food and was one of the easiest models to cook with that we tested. Its broad cooking surface comfortably accommodated large loaves of bread and made quick work of searing beef for stew, while the light-colored interior made it easy to monitor browning. We also appreciated the low walls, which improved visibility, and the large looped handles, which felt secure to grip. It's a bit heavier than some of our favorite models, and the lid's self-basting spikes can be tedious to clean, but those are minor drawbacks for an otherwise impressive Dutch oven that's worth considering on sale.
Made In Stainless Clad Stock Pot
Sale Price: $235 (21% off)
This stockpot stood out for its short, wide shape, which made it easier to maneuver than many of the taller models we tested, despite weighing more than 5 pounds. The lower walls made stirring, checking on food, and draining hot water feel more comfortable and controlled. It also showed no durability issues. If you're in the market for a large stockpot, this thoughtfully designed model is a great option.
Made In Stainless Clad Saucier
Sale Price: $155 (13% off)
This saucier cooked evenly in our tests, and its level, grippy handle felt comfortable to hold. It was also lighter than many competitors, making it easy to maneuver. The main drawback is its shape: The slightly angular interior corners can trap food that spatulas can't easily reach, making it feel more like a hybrid saucepan than a true saucier. Still, it performed well across a range of cooking tasks and is a solid choice overall.
Made In Pie Dish
Sale Price: $62 (10% off)
This pie dish is a great choice if you prefer ceramic bakeware. It's lighter than most ceramic competitors we tested, and while pies took a bit longer to bake than in metal plates, the crusts still emerged crisp and evenly browned. The wide, flat rim was easy to grip and offered plenty of room for decorative crimping. Its large capacity is another plus, though you may need to roll pie dough a bit thinner to fit the dish. One small drawback is that the straight sides can make serving neat slices more challenging. Like other ceramic pie plates, it can chip if dropped, but it's designed to withstand thermal shock, so you can bake pies straight from the freezer.
