Claudia Catalano

Claudia Catalano is an associate editor of ATK's books team. After a 20-year career in graphic design and art direction, she decided to pursue her true passion and earned a master's degree in gastronomy and a certificate in the culinary arts from Boston University. She’s a former personal chef and freelance writer, photographer, and recipe developer for The Boston Globe and Edible Boston, and has taught recreational cooking classes, graduate-level academic courses, and hands-on programs at BU’s Metropolitan College. Claudia was a 2025 IACP Food Writing Award Finalist for her Edible Boston article about homemade ricotta.
