Before You Begin
We prefer vinegary Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce here. Do not substitute a thick hot sauce, such as sriracha; it will make the honey too thick to drizzle. Microwaving in 20-second intervals will prevent the mixture from boiling over.
Instructions
- Stir honey and hot sauce together in liquid measuring cup. Microwave until sauce comes to boil, about 1 minute. Continue to microwave in 20-second intervals until sauce is reduced to ¼ cup, about 1 minute. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Why This Recipe Works
Combing a hefty dose of hot sauce with sweet honey gave the honey a welcome kick but made it thin and watery in the process. We used the microwave to quickly reduce this mixture to the perfect consistency for drizzling.
