Cilantro-Mint Chutney

Cilantro-Mint Chutney

Ingredients

2 cups fresh cilantro leaves 1 cup fresh mint leaves ½ cup water ¼ cup sesame seeds, lightly toasted1 (2-inch) piece ginger, peeled and sliced into ⅛-inch-thick rounds1 jalapeño chile, stemmed, seeded, and sliced into 1-inch pieces2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 1 ½ teaspoons sugar ½ teaspoon salt

Before You Begin

Adjust the sauce's heat level by reserving and adding the jalapeño seeds, if desired.

Instructions

  1. Process all ingredients in blender until smooth, about 30 seconds, scraping down sides of jar with spatula after 10 seconds.
