Why This Recipe Works

A full tablespoon of red pepper flakes gives this vibrant-tasting sauce (a typical condiment for falafel) nice heat. Smoked paprika adds depth, cilantro brings freshness, while a generous glug of vinegar and a touch of sugar puts everything in balance.
