Tater Tot and Sausage Pizza

Ingredients
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 1 pound pizza dough 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded (2 cups)8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (2 cups)1 pound frozen tater tots 8 ounces hot Italian sausage, casings removed, broken into 3⁄4-inch pieces⅓ cup sour cream 2 tablespoons water 1 tablespoon lime juice ½ teaspoon chipotle chile powder ⅛ teaspoon table salt 2 scallions, sliced thin
Before You Begin
If the dough springs back in step 1, let it rest for a few minutes and then stretch it again. Do not thaw the tater tots.
Instructions
- Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 500 degrees. Brush rimmed baking sheet with oil. Roll dough into 16 by 10-inch rectangle, about ¼ inch thick, on lightly floured counter. Transfer dough to prepared sheet.
- Sprinkle cheeses evenly over dough, leaving ½-inch border. Distribute tater tots and sausage evenly over cheese. Bake until tater tots are golden, sausage is cooked through, and crust is deep brown, 20 to 22 minutes.
- Stir sour cream, water, lime juice, chile powder, and salt together in bowl. Let pizza cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle with sour cream mixture, sprinkle with scallions, and serve.
