Why This Recipe Works

We combined ras el hanout and honey to form this cozy, creamy sauce. Ras el hanout is a Moroccan spice blend of ground cinnamon; cardamom; coriander; and other warm, earthy spices. A splash of apple cider vinegar added fruity brightness and made this velvety sauce reminiscent of a savory autumn pie. We love this sauce with our Chickpea Fries, but it would also go well on hearty sandwiches or with fillings like turkey or Brie cheese.
