Ingredients
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 1 pound pizza dough, room temperature½ cup jarred marinara sauce 8 ounces whole-milk block mozzarella cheese, shredded (2 cups)4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled (1 cup)2 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni ⅓ cup thinly sliced jarred hot cherry peppers 1 tablespoon honey
Before You Begin
If the dough springs back in step 1, let it rest for a few minutes and then stretch it again. For more heat, sprinkle the pizza with red pepper flakes before serving.
Instructions
- Adjust oven rack to lowest position and heat oven to 500 degrees. Brush rimmed baking sheet with oil. Press and roll dough into 15 by 11-inch rectangle on lightly floured counter. Transfer dough to prepared sheet. Spread sauce evenly over top. Sprinkle with mozzarella and blue cheese. Top pizza with pepperoni and cherry peppers.
- Bake until cheese is spotty brown and crust is golden, 10 to 15 minutes, rotating sheet halfway through baking. Transfer pizza to wire rack and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle honey over pizza. Slice and serve.

Why This Recipe Works
This pizza was inspired by the Hellboy at Paulie Gee's in Brooklyn, which pairs spicy soppressata with hot honey. Using store-bought dough and jarred marinara made this restaurant-inspired pizza easy enough to cook at home on a weeknight.
