Why This Recipe Works
A bowl of ice cream is a treat, but a sauce ladled over the ice cream makes it something special. When we don’t have time to prepare our own hot fudge recipe, we doctor store-bought hot fudge sauce by adding peanut butter and just a dash of salt, which helps to enhance and heighten the chocolate flavor of our Peanut Butter Hot Fudge Sauce.
Instructions
- Microwave hot fudge sauce, covered, in microwave-safe bowl until hot, about 1 minute. Whisk in the peanut butter, water, vanilla, and salt.
